Over the course of two weeks, students will plunge into the sports industry, using entrepreneurial concepts to begin building a product or service that solves problems in the local and national world of sports. In between site visits of San Antonio sports organizations and meetings with real-world professionals in the industry, students will live as a Trinity Tiger, from learning from our award-winning faculty to eating meals in Mabee Dining Hall and sleeping in one of our 11 residence halls on campus.
Week 1

Students form small start-up teams based on personal interests and character strengths

Local, national, and international sports industry professionals introduce students to real-world industry problems

Students explore professional sports operations in San Antonio through site visits and behind-the-scenes tours

Students begin researching, modeling, and planning presentation of start-up idea with guidance from Trinity sport management and entrepreneurship faculty

Students tour Trinity’s academic and extracurricular facilities, including the Innovation Cube, Coates Library, and athletics facilities

Students learn more about Trinity during an admissions information session
Week 2

Students continue site visits and behind-the-scenes tours of professional sports operations in San Antonio

Students brainstorm, develop, and refine ideas for a sports industry innovation with their start-up teams

Students rehearse and deliver pitches of their products at a public pitch competition/awards banquet. Families are welcome to attend this event, which will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 6-9 p.m.
